Like so many real-world athletes, Neymar Jr is a gamer! At least the set up at his house suggests so, which includes multiple screens, cables everywhere and a customised tower PC.

Which makes his latest collaboration with Fortnite all the more authentic on both sides. The dude plays Fortnite, alot. And he’s not the only footballer. England superstar, Harry Kane is also known to dabble in Fortnite, as too does Argentina striker Sergio Aguero, the latter of whom has invested in his own eSports team.

We think gaming is a world often misunderstood and with perceptions amongst older generations who grew up when gaming wasn’t really ‘cool’. Gaming allows people to escape, be creative and fuel imagination, whether it’s Fortnite or FIFA, much like Neymar Jr when he’s on the pitch humiliating players with step-overs and rainbow flicks.
