Jordan x PSG
What we think.
This is what happens when you combine football and basketball culture, something truly awesome and beautiful is created.
Since 2018, the Jordan brand has taken on part of Nike’s long-term kit agreement with PSG, and by doing so has innovated with what a football club kit provider can do in this space.
Not only is this a genius move from the Jordan team to expand the brand’s reach into football, but it is also a smart move by the marketing team at the football club, who now have a bucket load of new fans arriving from basketball and its associated culture.
For the first time ever, we saw the legendary Jumpman logo on a football jersey along with the merging of this icon with the PSG club crest. Massive kudos to the Jordan brand’s vice president of design, David Creech, a career-defining moment for him and his brilliant team.
But it is beyond the pitch where this collaboration has excelled and grown, with multiple collections of clothing, apparel and sneakers for both male and female consumers. The designs are exceptional, and continue to demonstrate the distinctive style that has been born from this partnership.
The great man himself agrees:
“Jordan Brand and Paris Saint-Germain share a distinct position in sport and style, so to partner with the club is a natural fit,” said Jordan
